The Program Analyst works directly with our 47 Single County Authorities (SCAs) by monitoring, guiding, supporting, and assisting SCAs through review of SCA Treatment Needs Assessments and SCA Treatment Plans and Updates.

As a representative of the Department of Drug and Alcohol Services (DDAP), this position will perform professional, consultative and administrative work on behalf of and throughout the Commonwealth’s Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Service System.
In this role, you will plan, develop, provide technical assistance, and monitor programs associated with substance related and addiction disorders.
This position is responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing and presenting data for planning, developing, and monitoring public and private programs and initiatives associated with substance related and addiction disorders.
Work involves serving as the project manager, as required for Federally Funded Grant Programs, which includes oversight, management and monitoring of all aspects of the contracted programs.
You will have the opportunity to participate in the implementation and review of Funding Initiative Announcements to address statewide substance use epidemics.
This includes the development of tools for assessing the applicant’s ability to respond to the crisis. You can expect to monitor grants awarded to include use of program evaluation tools and metrics.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, 2 days per week in the office and for special events.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
