This part-time driver position involves safely transporting blind or visually impaired individuals in South Carolina to medical appointments, program services, and other destinations, working about 20 hours per week mainly in the Charleston area.

We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused Part-Time Driver, approximately 20 hours per week, to support blind and visually impaired consumers in the Charleston area and to and from the Columbia District Office. This position is responsible for transporting consumers to low vision clinics, SCCB-related appointments, and other approved program services, ensuring safe, timely, and professional transportation. The ideal candidate is dependable, courteous, and comfortable working with individuals with disabilities while maintaining strict attention to safety, confidentiality, and scheduling.
