Time-In-Grade: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower-grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).
You must meet all Eligibility and Qualification requirements, including time-in-grade restrictions and any selective placement factors if applicable, by 04/20/2026. Major Duties:
- Act as resident expert in drilling and auguring methods and sampling techniques. - Act as resident expert in high-pressure drain cleaning methodology.
- Maintain purchase files, including receipts and invoices for drill equipment and supplies. - Maintain inventory of required materials and supplies, reorders supplies when necessary.
- Track and schedule all equipment maintenance and repair. - Track and schedule all safety training and required physicals related to drilling, auguring, and high pressure cleaning.
- Instruct all drill crews in proper procedures and work.
