In this role, you will be responsible for developing and directing programs and initiatives aimed at ending discriminatory practices; developing and recommending educational programs, technology, techniques, and practices to meet goals; and interpreting the PA Human Relations Act (PHRA) and PA Fair Education Opportunity Act (PFEOA).
Responsibilities include project management, frequent travel, conducting legal research, and identifying and analyzing patterns and trends in complex data.
Your work will also involve making speeches, conducting presentations and trainings, developing and conducting studies and surveys to understand outcomes from and identify future directions for human relations programs, and recommending and implementing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to promote the mission and goals of the PHRC in alignment with PHRA and PFEOA.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to two days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
