This role involves leading and advising on intelligence programs focused on human sources, countering enemy spies, and analyzing foreign equipment within the Navy's intelligence operations.
The director works closely with top military and government leaders to shape policies, allocate resources, and ensure these programs run smoothly across the armed forces.
Ideal candidates are seasoned intelligence experts who thrive in high-stakes coordination and are dedicated to national security and ethical governance.
You will serve as the Department of the Navy's foremost subject matter expert for Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Counterintelligence (CI), and Foreign Materiel (FM) reporting directly to the Chief of Naval Intelligence (CNI).
Your primary mission is to provide expert advice, coordination, and advocacy for these critical programs across the Naval Intelligence Enterprise and the broader Intelligence Community (IC).

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications: TQ 1.
Extensive knowledge of DoW and IC policies, programs, and authorities governing CI and HUMINT. TQ 2.
Experience in planning and managing highly complex intelligence programs related to CI, HUMINT, and FM. TQ 3.
Expert ability to plan, lead, and coordinate complex activities with major implications for the DON, DoW, and IC, including a proven ability to build partnerships.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
