This job involves planning and running events for a community college foundation to build stronger ties with donors, alumni, students, and local businesses, aiming to boost donations and support.
The role covers everything from scheduling events and managing budgets to coordinating volunteers and auctions.
It's a great fit for someone organized and outgoing with experience in event planning, especially in education or nonprofit settings.

The preferred candidate will have experience managing events in a higher education setting. Candidate will have demonstrated experience and knowledge in all event planning and management aspects.
Successful candidates will have a Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge, and Event is eGives Event.Gives software is highly preferred.
Candidate will have demonstrated success in corporate sponsorship solicitations, charitable auctions (live and silent), and donor stewardship.
Candidate will display initiative, self-direction, attention to detail, and strong organizational and planning skills.
Must be able to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment with diverse populations.
The candidate must also possess a high proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms and the ability to learn specialized programs as necessary.
