Full Job Description


The Development Events Manager builds community and business relationships for Trident Technical College/TTC Foundation, using events to cultivate and strengthen relationships with donors, alumni, students, and businesses to increase philanthropic support. Responsibilities include managing the Development Office’s annual schedule of special events to enhance donor stewardship and fundraising efforts and developing and managing all event activities, including auction, budget, décor, sponsors, volunteers, vendors, and logistics. Requirements

This position requires a high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required working experience. Preferred candidate will have a bachelor's degree and (3) years of relevant experience in event management, public administration, or administrative services; or an associate degree and, (5) years of relevant experience in event management, public administration, or administrative services.

Qualifications


The preferred candidate will have experience managing events in a higher education setting. Candidate will have demonstrated experience and knowledge in all event planning and management aspects.

Successful candidates will have a Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge, and Event is eGives Event.Gives software is highly preferred.

Candidate will have demonstrated success in corporate sponsorship solicitations, charitable auctions (live and silent), and donor stewardship.

Candidate will display initiative, self-direction, attention to detail, and strong organizational and planning skills.

Must be able to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment with diverse populations.

The candidate must also possess a high proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms and the ability to learn specialized programs as necessary.
