This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Fort Bliss supports over 30,000 troops and has undergone the largest post expansion in the Army. It is the home of the 1st Armored Division, U.S.
Army Western Hemisphere Command (USAWHC) deployable units, and has a full scope of base support elements.

Specialized experience: One year of specialized defined as: Assisting in performing investigative and law enforcement duties in support of criminal and administrative investigations; gathering and analyzing information from multiple sources to assist in case development; identifying and collecting evidence to support investigative leads; participating in interviewing witnesses and/or suspects to obtain detailed facts and collaborating with partner agencies to coordinate and share relevant information to solve criminal and administrative cases for and organization.
This specialized experience is equivalent to work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-07). Major Duties:
