This position is part of the Executive Office of the President (EOP), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Energy, Science, and Water Division (ESWD), Energy Branch.
The Energy Branch is seeking a detailee for approximately four to twelve months to oversee budget formulation and execution for the Department of Energy (DOE).

As a (Detail) Program Examiner, GS-0301-9/11/12/13/14/15, your typical work assignments may include the following: Writes memoranda and conducts briefings for White House leadership and staff.
Assesses the resource implications of policy proposals and decisions. Tracks Congressional appropriations and program funding. Analyzes budget and legislative proposals.
Reviews DOE testimony and reports to Congress for alignment with Administration policy. Makes recommendations to inform development of the President's Budget.
Reviews and approves financial plans, appropriations language, and draft regulations. Other duties as assigned.
