Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role involves assisting in the oversight of financial operations for a Navy maintenance center, ensuring budgets are managed properly, accounting follows rules, and the team's work supports the organization's goals efficiently.
It requires leading staff and contractors while providing expert advice on financial matters to higher-ups.

You will serve as a DEPUTY FINANCIAL MANAGER in the Finance Department, Comptroller of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, directing and coordinating Navy operations to resolve organizational problems for accounting, budget, or financial issues to meet agency objectives.
(Such as; Practical experience with Navy acquisition systems, Fleet financial management, change management and implementing Corrective Action Plans to meet Navy Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness objectives).
