The Construction Contracts section within MDOT has an exciting vacancy providing full-time benefits and work-life balance.
We are looking for an innovative, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
The ideal candidate will have the highest work standards and quality orientation along with knowledge of construction contracts, bonds, Adobe or Kofax PDF, and OneSpan.
This position contributes to the $3 billion highway program and will be instrumental in awarding all of the department’s construction contracts.
The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate through the maximum rate of the Departmental Technician 10 position.

Education
Education typically acquired through completion of high school.
Two years of experience as a supervisor of administrative support activities equivalent to the 9-level in state service.
OR
Two years of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 9-level in state service.
OR
Three years of experience as a technician or paraprofessional, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced level in state service.
Departmental Technician 10
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree and one year of professional experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.
