The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Office of Rail is seeking a positive, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who is committed to continuous learning and embraces the opportunity to positively impact Michigan’s passenger rail services.
MDOT is not just Michigan’s highway department as it also serves multiple roles specific to rail transportation.
The Office of Rail is a dedicated MDOT office with diverse responsibilities that collectively work towards moving more people and goods by rail.
This position is an opportunity to contribute to the oversight and improvement of Michigan’s passenger rail services.
As a Passenger Rail Analyst, you will lead projects that support and potentially expand Michigan’s three intercity passenger rail services operated by Amtrak.
In this role, you will work with Michigan’s twenty-two station communities, Amtrak, and counterparts from other Midwest states to improve services and strengthen regional connectivity.
The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate at the entry (9) level through the maximum rate at the advanced (12) level. Based on education and experience, candidates will be reviewed to determine what level they are qualified for.
