Requirements

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients through dental hygiene services, as well as providing auxiliary administrative, technical, and chairside assistance to the dentist, ensuring optimum patient care. Your duties will include performing dental prophylaxis procedures, identifying patients’ oral hygiene needs, and determining hygiene treatment plans. You will have the opportunity to provide instructions to patients for dental hygiene practices. In this role, you will assist dentists during procedures, including performing fluoride treatments and other treatments as assigned by the dentist. Work also involves scheduling patients for exams, recording findings on patient’s medical charts, and preparing the monthly calendar of appointments. Additionally, you will attend treatment meetings and participate in committee meetings as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Special Requirements:

  • This position requires possession of a license to practice as a dental hygienist as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
