This job is for a dental assistant at a state prison in Pennsylvania, where you'll help dentists treat inmates by preparing patients, assisting during exams and procedures, managing records, and taking X-rays.

The role involves full-time daytime hours with no remote work option.

As a Dental Assistant, you will work with experienced staff to provide essential dental services to our inmate population.
You will assist the dentist during the examination and treatment of patients, manage daily patient flow, maintain dental records, and perform dental laboratory procedures.
You will also expose, process, label, and evaluate radiographic images.
This position requires compassion and professionalism as you will play a crucial role that ensures the oral health of our inmates and contributes to the overall functioning of the dental office.
In addition, you will prepare patients and clinical areas for procedures, explain preventative care and post-procedural care instructions to patients, and take impressions of teeth for study models, diagnostic casts, and athletic appliances.
