Monitors and reconciles DDS expenditures, CDI and procurement obligations in coordination with SCEIS, ASAP and IDT automated systems and SCVRD.
Develops and maintains general ledger coding system, prepares ASAP documentation and coordinates time of drawdowns, keys journal entries, completes Comptroller General Checklist.
Assists Administrative Services Manager in preparation of DDS annual budget. Provides technical assistance and program information to DDS personnel, CDI and non-federal partners in the implementation of budgetary and procurement policy and procedures.Monitors and reconciles all non-federal expenditures and budget documents related to DDS operations; ensures punctual billing and payment obligational indebtedness to avoid improper use of SSA funds. Serves as DDS state or federal audit liaison and primary contact during state, federal or Department. Assists in developing, reviewing and revising state-wide procedural instructions.Assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field and three years of accounting experience.
- Proficient in Excel and Word software.
- Proficiency using SCEIS (SAP) programs preferred.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, theories, and terminology of accounting, budgeting, and/or financial management.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial data, records, and reports.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Knowledge of state government fiscal and accounting practices preferred.
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis.
- Ability to proficiently apply mathematical concepts.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
