Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing systems and processes for routine data collection and analysis of program activities; 2) Developing clear and well-structured analytical plans to help shape the organization's data infrastructure, inclusive of data warehousing, reporting, and analytics platforms; 3) Performing data mining as required; 4) Designing dashboards and other information portals to display and disseminate data and analytic conclusions; 5) Monitoring data collection, compiles data, creates reports, designs custom extracts, and performs data analysis; and 6) Identifying reliable data sources and validating data, as appropriate.

Major Duties:

  • You will develop, analyze, and recommend new methodologies to fuse data sources derived from requirements and systems.
  • You will use programming language and tools to identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality for analysis missions, organizational goals, and future planning.
  • You will identify, develop, and integrate pertinent information, including internal and external sources, through various data collection procedures and technologies, including emerging data science and big data methodologies.
  • You will analyze a variety of data sources to provide data-driven insights to the organizations to streamline processes.
  • You will develop, construct, test, maintain, and synchronize data architecture for the organization, individually or as part of a team.
  • You will support the development of proposals and projects that align with strategic plans and policy goals for data science research and analytic projects.
