Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

This position is located in the Office of Management Analysis and Coordination, Workload and Capacity Analysis Division, Passport Services, Burau of Consular Affairs (CA/PPT/I/MAC/WC), Department of State.
The office seeks to elevate the use of data analytics methodologies and techniques in determining policies and making management decisions regarding the effectiveness of the bureau's programs and operations, particularly in regard to intake processing.

NOTE: Applicants must meet time-in-grade and time after competitive appointment requirements, by the closing date of this announcement.
Time-In-Grade Requirements: Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing data-driven solutions to address program challenges.
Experience identifying and translating data analytics concepts, findings, and limitations into written and graphical data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of program operations.
Experience assessing project risk through continuous monitoring and communication with contractors, leadership, and customers stakeholders.
