Full Job Description

You will serve as a DATA MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (AIRCRAFT in the TECH DATA UNIQUE FLEET SUPPORT TEAM, FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST SAN DIEGO of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: Understanding of aircraft parts, terminology, and technical manuals to effectively communicate technical information.

Using data management software to track and manage technical document configurations to organize and manage large amounts of data with accuracy.

Working with different military and government organizations to order, track, and manage technical documents.

Demonstrating knowledge of quality management standards and policies for acquiring, controlling, and protecting sensitive or classified data.

Understanding of policies on proprietary data and foreign military restrictions. Using digital tools and systems to manage and retrieve technical data.

GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

  • You will manage the procurement, issuance, control and audit of technical publications utilized throughout the production and support operations of Fleet Readiness Center Southwest.
  • You will develop and present specialized training on technical data requirements, data configuration and control; and database management query procedures to government and contractor personnel.
  • You will operate equipment used for storage, display, reproduction, and distribution of paper and digital data.
  • You will provide protection and accountability for technical publications and associated technical data, including classified data.
