The Relations and Engagement Division of the Customer Experience Center Customer Outreach, is on the lookout for a motivated Customer Outreach Specialist.

As a Customer Outreach Specialist, your primary focus will involve working with internal and external stakeholders to optimize customer services within the Department of Revenue.
Specific duties include reviewing the department’s presentation request forms to determine the feasibility of requests along with what resources are necessary.
You will also assist in reviewing new legislation related to the requested presentation topics.
This professional is responsible for incorporating plain language into resources to ensure internal and external communications are clear and concise.
You can expect to assist in public speaking engagements provided by the department.
Collaboration is key as you analyze data obtained from various customer satisfaction surveys used throughout the department and provide recommendations to improve customer experience and internal processes based on survey results.
You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Communications Office to develop and enhance the department’s website and social media platforms based on customer inquiries, tax season trends, or customer feedback survey results.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to two days a week after successful completion of required in-office training.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment.
