Job Description
Summary
This job involves cleaning and maintaining facilities at a military base, such as sweeping floors, emptying trash, disinfecting bathrooms, and operating cleaning equipment to keep spaces neat and safe.

This position is located at Fort Leavenworth FMWR Custodial Services. This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies throughout the program.

- Cleans, empties trash, dusts, disinfects, and deodorizes rooms, corridors, stairways, toilet facilities and other areas.
- Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment.
- Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc. - moving furniture when necessary. Performs routine maintenance of equipment.
- Washes walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt. Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
