Job Description
Summary
This job is for a custodial worker at a club on a military base in Georgia, where you'll handle cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and maintaining restrooms and common areas to keep everything neat and safe.
It also involves using cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and moving furniture as needed.
A good fit would be someone reliable and physically able who enjoys hands-on work and has basic experience in cleaning or maintenance.
Key Requirements
- Knowledge and skills to clean rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas using sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and polishing
- Ability to operate light and heavy-duty powered equipment for cleaning rugs, drapes, and industrial tasks
- Experience performing routine maintenance on cleaning equipment
- Skills in cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing toilet facilities, dusting, emptying trash, and washing walls, windows, and fixtures
- Physical capability to move heavy furniture and use ladders, scaffolds, and safety belts
- Ability to maintain stock of cleaning supplies and perform other assigned duties
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Full Job Description
This position is located at Club Stewart, Fort Stewart, GA. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must have knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade, to keep the assigned work area neat and clean, and to communicate both orally and in writing.
Major Duties:
- Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment. Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc.
- Performs routine maintenance of equipment. Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes toilet facilities. Cleans, and dusts assigned areas. Empties trash.
- Washes walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt. Moves heavy furniture.
- Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
