This job is for a custodial worker at Clarks Summit State Hospital, where you'll keep patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas clean and safe to support residents' recovery.
It involves everyday cleaning tasks like mopping floors, dusting furniture, handling waste, and stocking supplies, all while following safety rules for chemicals and hospital standards.
A good fit would be someone reliable, detail-oriented, and physically able who enjoys hands-on work in a healthcare setting.

As a Custodial Worker 1, you will ensure that all assigned areas throughout the Clarks Summit State Hospital are kept clean and sanitary.
Common hospital housekeeping duties include mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping floors; cleaning windows and dusting furniture; and ensuring that all waste is disposed of properly.
You will replace restroom supplies and move items around as needed, in addition to refinishing floors and deep cleaning resident rooms as necessary.
You will also be tasked with stocking clean linens and distributing linens to designated areas.
Within this role, you must ensure that all assigned areas are within the standards set forth by the hospital and housekeeping department, in addition to prioritizing the safety of all consumers, staff, and visitors.
Housekeeping duties must be performed in a safe manner, inclusive of ensuring that all chemicals are used and stored in adherence to manufacturers’ directions.
