This job involves overseeing the quality of online courses for South Carolina's virtual school, ensuring they meet state and national standards, and helping teachers and staff improve their teaching materials through training and coaching.

The person in this position will coordinate review process of VirtualSC courses to ensure that courses meet relevant state and national design standards.
Ensure that VirtualSC instructional materials meet legal and program standards and are integrated effectively into online courses.
Plan, coordinate and/or deliver professional development that supports VirtualSC faculty and staff in meeting curriculum standards and program goals.
Facilitate the development and completion of course and unit plans that meet program standards.
Coach design team members toward creating course material that meets curriculum standards and program goals.
Actively lead, support and promote the growth quality content development practices at VirtualSC. Participate in training to develop and maintain skills, knowledge, and mastery of relevant skills.
Perform other duties as assigned.
