The City of Las Vegas is pleased to announce a recruitment for the position of
Municipal Court Marshal - Critical Labor Hire
Performs a variety of sworn law enforcement related duties including serving arrest warrants, subpoenas, and other court orders; to make arrests; and to maintain order in the court and transport prisoners to court and jail.

- The designation (CLS) will expire September 17, 2027.
- Assignments will be determined at the sole discretion of the Court Administrator.
- Officers will be placed at Step 7 ($74,542) of the wage schedule and are eligible for union pay adjustments that are outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Must successfully complete any required re-hire training within the timeframe as determined by the department.
Civil Service Testing Process:
The test for placing candidates on the eligible list will consist of an application evaluation and scoring. It is essential that applications include detailed information regarding education, certifications, and experience. Applicants who pass this test will move forward to the department assessment process.

Qualifications
Qualifications:In addition to the minimum qualifications for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Municipal Court Marshal - Critical Labor Hire position:
- Must have retired in the Nevada PERS system and have received their first Nevada PERS retirement benefit payment at the time of hire
- Must have a current/active Nevada POST Category I certification
- No more than 60 months have lapsed since employment with a Police Department
