Summary

This role involves overseeing crisis response teams, access to mental health services, and medication programs in a county behavioral health department.

The manager ensures smooth operations, coordinates care for people in need, and leads staff to handle urgent situations effectively.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in behavioral health services, including crisis intervention and medication management
  • Supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in mental health settings
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations for behavioral health, including Medi-Cal and confidentiality laws
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage program budgets and quality assurance
  • Ability to handle high-stress environments and collaborate with community partners
  • Valid California driver's license and background check clearance
