Searches, retrieves and/or researches public and private records in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.Performs initial background and history research on individual(s) being investigated and/or researched.Ensures that agency and/or state records are properly classified, processed and controlled.The Best Qualified Candidate:Will be able to maintain confidentiality.Will be able to understand and apply applicable laws, rules, regulations, as well as policies and procedures.Will be able to use logic to make a decision or solve a problem.Will be to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely.Will be able to follow written and/or oral instructions.Requirement:Must pass the Utah Bureau of Identification Proficiency test within the probationary period and maintain certification thereafter.Supplemental Information:Level II Background and fingerprinting is required as part of the hiring process.
