This role is responsible for coordinating and managing court schedules across criminal, civil, and small claims cases, including arranging hearings, assigning courtrooms, and maintaining judges’ calendars both digitally and within internal systems.
The position involves preparing and distributing daily court calendars in multiple formats, managing judicial availability and leave, and ensuring accurate scheduling through systems like Courtview and OnBase.
Duties also include processing warrants from law enforcement through review, notarization, sealing, and data entry, as well as scheduling specific hearings such as change of plea and bail hearings within established guidelines.
In addition, the role serves as a key point of contact for judges, court staff, attorneys, litigants, and the public by providing information on hearings, case processing, and courtroom assignments via phone, email, and in person.
The position requires real-time courtroom support, including entering live data, assisting with hearing scheduling, and responding to questions during proceedings.
Responsibilities further extend to maintaining proper records and communication standards, generating availability lists for court use, assisting with employee training, supporting special projects, and providing cross-functional assistance to other court divisions as needed.
The Work Hours
Full-time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.

Substitution:
Additional office clerical work experience will substitute for the high school diploma or GED certificate on a month-for-month basis.
