Cambria County Children & Youth Services is looking for an outgoing individual to serve as the lead fiscal staff in the agency.
With our team, you will supervise a team of fiscal technicians and accountants to help ensure that all fiscal and accounting tasks are completed timely and accurately as well as collaborate with administrative personnel to prepare for and participate in the budgetary, grant, and reporting functions that make key services possible.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and training the agency's fiscal staff.
This includes reviewing and monitoring daily tasks and assigned projects, as well as providing the training and cross training fiscal staff need to support their own work and our team as a whole.
You will also be responsible for preparing and assisting with a variety of budget development, review, and planning duties.
This involves preparing agency’s state budget for Children and Youth and Juvenile Probation expenditures and revenues, assembling the agency’s county budget, and overseeing and participating in the completion of the agency's state and federal expenditure reports.
Work includes reviewing previous expenditures, analyzing program changes, projecting estimated costs based on funding requirements, and completing other related financial and revenue reports.
Additionally, you will assist in preparations for and participate in required audits as well as oversee all grants obtained by the agency.
This includes ensuring regulations governing each are followed and preparing all financial reports for submission to the state offices.
Work also involves providing administrative guidance to the agency's professional staff for the completion of mandated forms relating to financial matters and overseeing the review of these forms and related applications.
Our team will also rely on your knowledge and expertise to develop or recommend the establishment of necessary controls and implements revisions in accounting methods and procedures needed to maintain controls.
