Armstrong County Children, Youth, and Family Services is looking for a Casework Supervisor to complete our passionate team of family advocates representing different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.

In this role, you will perform professional social service work of a supervisory nature in the field of child welfare.
Responsibilities primarily involve providing consultation and monitoring family services with the caseworkers under your supervision, as well as investigating child abuse and neglect referrals.
You will supervise and train a small group of caseworkers, casework trainees, and social service aides, in addition to carrying a caseload.
Work includes managing social casework activities including the planning, delivery, and evaluation of services; quality assurance; case records maintenance; and limited elements of personnel administration.
Our team will also rely on you to plan and provide training, as well as participate in fostering an atmosphere of mutual trust, respect, and dedication to our agency’s child protection mission.
You will provide additional support to this essential work by contacting other agencies and organizations to communicate, explain, and advance our agency’s mission to all communities in our county.
