Job Description
Summary
This part-time counselor role at Piedmont Technical College involves providing short-term counseling to students dealing with personal issues, helping those in crisis, and leading workshops on mental health topics like stress and anxiety.

Key Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

Full Job Description
• Provide short-term, solution-focused individual counseling to students for 16 hours per week.• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Assist students experiencing acute psychological distress or crisis.
• Collaborate with campus safety and emergency services when necessary.
• Provide follow-up care and referrals to community resources.
• Serve as an active member of the college’s Behavioral Intervention Team.
• Design and facilitate workshops and presentations on topics such as stress management, anxiety, depression, suicide prevention, and resilience.
