Job Title: Cost Allocation Analyst - Management Analyst 4 (MA4)
Location: Olympia, WA - The selected candidate will work in the Olympia office for the initial 6-month training period, with the possibility to move to a hybrid work schedule.

The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is looking for a Cost Allocation Analyst (Management Analyst 4) to bring expertise in accounting, federal reporting, and cost allocation to support the Early Learning Cost Allocation and Federal Grants team.
The Cost Allocation and Federal Grants section serves the mission! DCYF's mission is to protect children and strengthen families so they flourish.

The Opportunity:
As a Management Analyst 4 (MA4), you'll ensure federal grants comply with both federal regulations and state requirements. Also, management of the automated cost allocation plan, monthly plan build process, AFRS edit entries, and bypass journal voucher entry. Required Qualifications:
Equivalent education and relevant professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility totaling six (6) years.
Relevant experience includes experience in accounting, payroll, finance, or closely related field. Professional experience may substitute for education but not usually for the credit hours.
OR
A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field, which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting, and five (5) years of relevant professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
