This job involves leading the operation and maintenance of a water treatment plant at a state prison in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, ensuring clean water supply through hands-on work and oversight of inmate workers.
A good fit would be someone with experience in water treatment who enjoys technical challenges, leading teams, and working in a secure environment to meet safety and regulatory standards.

As a Corrections Water Treatment Plant Foreman, you will operate, maintain, and repair pumps, valves, chlorinators, chemical feeders, compressors, laboratory equipment, and computer monitoring systems to effectively support the ongoing operation of a 1.2 million gallon capacity water treatment plant.
This includes performing daily laboratory testing, checking equipment calibration, and adjusting chemical dosages required for normal plant operations.
This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work hands-on with inmates learning the standard principles and practices of water treatment plant maintenance.
You will also monitor gauges, meters, and sensing devices; update tool and toxic supply inventory records; and ensure all Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) regulations are met.
