This job involves leading a team to run and fix a boiler plant in a prison, making sure there's always a steady supply of steam, hot and cold water, and handling sewage systems safely.
You'll train workers, including inmates, and keep everything up to safety rules.

As a Corrections Utility Plant Supervisor, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of a boiler plant and ensure a continuous and reliable supply of steam.
You will supervise both staff and inmate workers performing routine and specialized boiler plant operations including the maintenance and repair of steam boilers, pumps, water towers, and water and sewage equipment.
You will also implement effective work processes, conduct orientation and training, and provide instruction in specialized areas of operation, maintenance, and repair.
This role requires solid knowledge of boiler plant processes and procedures to ensure compliance with established safety and sanitation standards.
In addition, you will approve requisitions for supplies and supervise the installation of all equipment.
