As a Corrections Utility Plant Operator, you are responsible for supervising inmates and maintaining proper security while ensuring work is performed under safe operating procedures.
Duties include reading and interpreting gauges, meters, and sensing devices, as well as cleaning and maintaining equipment.
Also, you provide heat and hot water for institutional needs by maintaining boiler operations, including generation of medium pressure steam.
