As a Corrections Food Service Instructor, you will lead inmate workers and provide instruction using hands-on vocational training.
You will oversee inmates in food preparation, production, service, and baking.
You will inspect all food service areas, equipment, and food for compliance with established safety and sanitation standards.
This role requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships that will enable inmates to learn the standard principles and practices of food service operations.
In addition, you will ensure that meals are prepared and served in a timely manner, evaluate inmate work performance, and requisition food supplies.
