Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves supporting the U.S.
Navy's ship maintenance programs by reviewing contracts, creating work statements and funding plans, and monitoring contractor performance to ensure everything runs smoothly.
A good fit would be someone with experience in government or private sector contracting, especially in defense or maintenance fields, who is detail-oriented and comfortable advising teams and preparing reports.
It requires strong organizational skills to handle training, surveillance, and communication tasks.
You will serve as a CONTRACT SUPPORT SPECIALIST in FORCE SHIP MAINTAINENCE/MATERIEL READINESS DIRECTORATE of COMMANDER NAVAL AIR PACIFIC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reviewing contract requirements, generating statements of work (SOW), developing funding documents, or evaluating contractor price/cost data to support ship maintenance program.
