Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading and managing large-scale contracts for naval ship design, construction, and modifications within the U.S. Navy's contracting team.
You'll plan acquisitions, negotiate deals, solve contract issues, and work closely with government, military, and industry partners to ensure projects run smoothly.

You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the CONTRACTS DIRECTORATE of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 band level (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, directing, or coordinating acquisitions and interpreting statue and regulations to provide advice for procurement and contracting elements of program planning.
