Summary

  • Safety-sensitive role requiring fingerprinting

This is a contract (part-time) position.
SAFETY SENSITIVE: Yes FINGERPRINTING REQUIRED: Yes



Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for light routine to heavy labor in construction, maintenance and repairs throughout multi facilities.
  • Must be able to operate equipment, assist in grounds maintenance, mow, rake, edge, trash pickup & litter control, restroom cleaning, maintenance of picnic shelters or tables, observation piers, barbecue grills, parking lots, athletic fields, general grounds work on a golf course, and any other park grounds.
  • May be required to operate a motor vehicle in performance of assigned tasks.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license upon hire and obtain a valid Florida driver’s license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion.

Individuals assigned to this classification must report to work per their assigned schedule. Parks and Recreation staff must be willing to workdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
