The Work Unit:
The Office of STI/HIV/VH works to reduce disease transmission and ensure quality and medically accurate STI/HIV related prevention, care, and treatment services for all people in Colorado. Functions include public health surveillance of STI/HIV/VH; follow-up of people newly diagnosed with a STI/HIV to ensure adequate treatment; referrals and partner notification; access to care and treatment as appropriate; developing comprehensive prevention programs; and conducting program evaluation to enhance the use of STI/HIV/VH data to direct prevention and care activities. The Office of STI/HIV/VH is committed to high-quality services, innovative public health practices and disrupting inequities. The Care and Services Program exists within the Office of STI/HIV/VH to provide access to health care, support for clients, linkage to care, and intensive case management among clients with needs related to HIV and STI. The Program has three units: Health Care Access, Linkage to Care, and Client Support. This position in the Care and Services Program and report directly to the Manager of the Care and Services program within the Office of STI/HIV/VH.What you will be doing
Ensures that the Office of STI/HIV/VH comply with care standards and quality key performance indicators. and Coordinates internal and external quality improvement committees and provides summary reports to Office leadership and community stakeholders. Provides quality improvement work and process-based decision making to consult with the workforce around continuous/process improvement in collaboration with Office leadership and contracted partners. Works with the Training and Capacity Building team to support training and program development from inception through implementation around lean process improvement. Provides consultative, analytical, and quality improvement support to projects in consultation with the Data Analytics and Program Evaluation team.An applicant may meet the minimum qualifications for this job in one of two ways: They may qualify through their work experience alone or through a combination of education and work experience.

Experience Only:
Six (6) years of professional experience in quality improvement, compliance, and process improvement or a related field.
OR
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Public Health, Health Care Administration, or a field of study related to the work assignment.
AND
Two (2) years of professional experience in equality improvement, compliance, and process improvement or an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position
