Full Job Description

The Construction Project Manager 3 will work in a hybrid environment appropriate to ongoing activities and duties, including in the field, office, or remote. A telework agreement will be developed upon start to outline specifics.

This recruitment is for multiple positions. There is one Career Service and two Limited Duration positions.

Facilities Management's mission is to provide quality spaces that are safe and ready to support Pierce County businesses each day.

A person working in our department should be able to communicate and execute projects so that our customers are satisfied with the services and their expectations are met.

A construction project manager should also ensure that the resources and projects are managed with regard to scope, schedule, and budget.

The department strives to make sure employees feel supported and experience job satisfaction by providing training and reviews.

A person in this position is working as a senior project manager capable of exercising independent decisions to advance these priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in landscape architecture, construction management, civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, project management, business or public administration or closely related field from an accredited college or university; and,
• Five years of increasingly responsible experience directly related to the position.
• Additional education or experience may substitute for the recruiting requirements.

Licenses or Certifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.

Preferred Qualifications
