This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: As a construction control representative you will be responsible for surveillance and inspection of civil works, military construction, and interagency projects including environmental mitigation, testing structures, water treatment plants, mechanical, and electrical components.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes interpreting plans and specifications; inspecting materials and workmanship to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with contractual requirements; reviewing contractor-submitted documents for accuracy and adequacy; and furnishing field information for construction progress.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
