About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 45th Force Support Squadron.

This position includes the opportunity to enroll in Health and Life Insurance, 401K and Retirement, Annual and Sick Leave.

This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 35-40 per week. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Extensive knowledge of USAF business operations policies, procedures, methods, and publicity techniques within two or more of the following areas: military recreation, base morale, welfare and recreation business operations, food and beverage operations, and/or community wide event planning.

Knowledge of NAF financial, budget, and resource management practices and principles. Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques.

Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices and procedures.

Skill in effectively organizing and utilizing available community resources to augment the flight's programs to meet Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.

Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.

Employee may be required to work extended or uncommon tour of duty to include evenings and weekends, and may be subject to recall. Major Duties:

As Community Services Flight Operations Manager may serve as the Flight Chief in the incumbent's absence, provides direction for the operations within the flight to include but not limited to outdoor recreation, golf course, arts and crafts, bowling center, auto skill's, community center, consolidated clubs, and embedded snack bar operations.

Plans, directs and manages base wide MWR events across all FSS activities.

Establishes, identifies and defines requirements for execution and implementation of operations, evaluates for compliance with regulations, directives, procedures and policies.

Develops, monitors, and analyzes statistical data to track operating programs, evaluate effectiveness and applicability to the strategic plan and plan improvements.

Responsible for administration, execution, and oversight of the appropriated and non-appropriated budgets and NAF contracted operations.

Assists with initiating, planning, reviewing and establishing minor & major NAF construction projects.

Assists in day to day operation of the unit marketing program to include printing, strategic planning, social media and creating and updating recurring publicity utilizing a plethora of media venues.

Monitors and analyzes recreation programs to ensure operations are in line with industry trends and coordinates with other base organizations, senior leadership, other military services, and DoD agencies regarding services provided.

Provides guidance to leadership in overall planning and develops capital improvement and short and long range plans.

Facilitates cross-functional communications within the organization, ensures implementation of decisions on technical and personnel problems presented by subordinate supervisors, reviews evaluations of non-supervisory employees rated by subordinate supervisors, assures reasonable equity of individual perfonnance objective standards and ratings among subordinate organizations, recommends performance awards and salary/bonus distribution for subordinate employees, evaluates subordinate supervisors, makes or approves selections for subordinate non-supervisory positions, recommends selections for subordinate supervisory positions.
