About the Position: This position serves as a Clinical Psychologist in the Mental Department within a Medical Treatment Facility.
The incumbent is responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and consultation of patients with psychological disorders through the application of psychological techniques for the purpose of understanding, preventing, and relieving psychologically based distress or dysfunction.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Basic Requirements for Clinical Psychologist Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.
or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients who exhibit evidence the full range of disorders described in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), or more current accepted standard and functions as an authoritative source of information regarding the use and interpretation of psychological tests; monitoring, approving, and documenting clinical treatment plans and clinical records in timely fashion; providing staffing for clinical cases, including in emergency consultation and crisis scenarios; performing psychotherapeutic intervention or environmental modification based on scientific, evidence-based practice, or other community-accepted standard of care.
AND Licensure: This position requires a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S.
State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction. (NOTE: You must provide a copy of your license with your application package).
