Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a clinical counselor at a naval station to support military families, especially those at risk of child abuse or neglect, by providing counseling, education, and home visits to help with parenting challenges and family stress.

You will serve as a Clinical Counselor in the Installation Family Readiness Division of NAVAL STATION ROTA.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Implementing mandated reporting and program delivery decisions and; 2) Interpreting and adapting existing guidelines to arrive at a finding or conclusion, or to decide appropriate course of actions; and 3) Delivering support services in serious and complex cases involving families at-risk for child abuse and neglect, creating and maintaining relationship with community partners, and providing education and training.
