This job is for a clerk at a veterinary clinic on a military base in Kansas, where you'll handle front-desk tasks like greeting clients, scheduling pet appointments, managing payments, and keeping the office clean.
It's ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals and people, has solid basic office skills, and can stay organized in a busy environment.
No advanced degrees are needed, but comfort with physical tasks like lifting and standing will make you stand out.
This position is located at the Fort Riley Veterinary Treatment Facility. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Ability to communicate orally and deal effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
Basic computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Suite or equivalent, ability to use point of sales software.
Basic arithmetic expertise to balance cash draw, accept payments and provide change accurately. Typing proficiency - 40WPM.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Ability to lift 40 lbs and long periods of standing, restraining, kneeling, reaching and sitting, etc.
