Job Description

Summary

This job is for a clerk at a veterinary clinic in Germany, where you'll handle front-office tasks like taking payments, managing cash, and keeping inventory stocked, while also guiding newer staff on daily operations.

It's a good fit for someone with strong people skills, basic computer know-how, and comfort with numbers who enjoys working in a busy animal care setting.

Physical stamina for standing and light lifting is a plus for top candidates.

  • Experience in front-office operations, preferably in a veterinary or clinic setting (highly preferred)
  • Physical ability to lift 40 lbs and stand, kneel, or reach for long periods (highly preferred)

Full Job Description

This position is located at the Kaiserslautern, Germany Veterinary Treatment Facility. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Ability to communicate orally and deal effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.

Basic computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Suite or equivalent, ability to use point of sales software.

Basic arithmetic expertise to balance cash draw, accept payments and provide change accurately. Typing proficiency - 40WPM.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Ability to lift 40 lbs and long periods of standing, restraining, kneeling, reaching and sitting, etc.

  • Receives payments for services rendered.
  • Balances cash and checks daily and makes daily bank deposit.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
