Requirements

In this position, you will be one of the first individuals that our community members will meet at our office.

This involves providing a positive impact on behalf of our Transportation Services Department.

Your responsibilities will include a wide range of front desk and clerical duties to support the supervisors, caseworkers, and administrative staff.

These front desk and office functions include greeting walk-ins, answering phones, taking messages, data entry, customer service, scanning, filing, arranging staff travel accommodations and reservations, and processing mail.

Our team will rely on you to meet deadlines and maintain a smooth paperwork flow for case management staff.


Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours total 37.5 hours per week. Schedule varies between 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Employee may have irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • This position involves some travel in and out of County for meetings or training.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerk 1 and educational development to the level of the eighth grade; or
  • Completion of a high school business curriculum; or
  • Any equivalent experience and/or training which provided the required knowledges and abilities.


Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.


Legal Requirements:

  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
    • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
