Requirements

The successful candidate in this position will be responsible for providing clerical support for the Occupational Therapy, Therapeutic Activities Services and SRS Departments as needed. Responsibilities include completing clinic schedules, sign-in sheets, employee 4-week schedules, semester changes for consumer programming, and ordering of office supplies. You will update department manuals as needed and will serve as recorder for CSP meetings once a month or as requested.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday thru Friday with a 30-minute lunch, (shift may change based on operational needs).

  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.


Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.


Legal Requirements:

  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

    • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
