The employee in this position will perform a variety of clerical support functions for the Lancaster County Maintenance District fleet equipment operations. Requirements
The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will be responsible for entering payroll information for garage personnel into the SAP system, reviews payrolls for completeness and math accuracy, obtains any additional information needed for coding properly, and enters data timely for next pay processing date. Runs payroll reports to determine any errors on payrolls processed and initiates payroll adjustments. Serves as back up timekeeper, ensuring that appropriate hours, absences, and other pay-related entries are processed in a timely and accurate manner. You will assist with onboarding issues and new hire trainings, as well as maintains internal organization charts to ensure accuracy.
You will assist with and schedule county events and trainings, including but not limited to Safety Stand Down Day, bid days, employee recognition events, summer Government Services Interns (GSI) training, Pennsylvania Employee Benefit Trust Fund (PEBTF) wellness screenings, job shadows, and other county trainings.

- Work hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
