Requirements

The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will provide clerical and technical support to District 12-0s Design Unit to ensure work is completed in a timely and effective manner. Operates the HP 5100 XL Print Machine and HP SD Pro Scanner, as well as prepares and formats correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents as required. Additional responsibilities include attending, taking notes, and preparing summaries for various meetings.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements (NSRs):
  • This position requires keyboarding skills to meet standards for speed and accuracy.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
