Requirements

In this position, you will warmly welcome visitors both over the phone and in person, providing essential park information and addressing inquiries with a friendly and service-oriented demeanor. You will utilize the Activeworks Outdoors (AWO) system to manage registrations, collect revenue, and issue receipts for various park services, including campsite permits and retail purchases. Additionally, you will prepare refund requests for managerial approval and resolve visitor issues, such as double-booking, while generating reports and reconciling daily revenue discrepancies for the Park Manager's attention. Your role will also involve operating office equipment, typing and proofreading documents, and disseminating information to user groups and volunteers, all while maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the office and visitor center.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2027.
  • This is a seven day a week operation and will be routinely scheduled to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed for park operations and to meet seasonal needs.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
